Job Title: Accounts Payable Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join a growing team in Tampa. This position offers the opportunity to be a key player in expanding the accounts payable footprint. The role involves processing a high volume of invoices and analyzing them for discrepancies or errors, while also assisting vendors with invoicing inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of invoices using a 3-way match method.
• Analyze invoices for discrepancies or errors.
• Work independently and collaboratively, being the sole person responsible for reporting and a backup for processing.
• Assist vendors with invoicing inquiries or errors.
• Set up new vendors in the system as needed.
• Analyze invoice discrepancies and provide solutions.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of full cycle accounts payable experience with mid to large sized corporations.
• Proficiency in AP reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
• Solid understanding of accounts payable processes.
• Experience with SAP or other large software systems such as Oracle or Peoplesoft.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• While SAP experience is not required, it is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, including 3-way matching, purchase orders, and goods receipt.
• Experience with AP analytics.

Work Environment

This position is based in a professional work environment in Tampa, with the standard hours of 8 AM to 5 PM or 7 AM to 4 PM with a 30-minute lunch break. The role follows a hybrid 4/1 schedule, with training conducted fully onsite for five days.
