Accounts Receivable Specialist

Position Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist - Hybrid

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring solid experience in AR processes and play a key role in managing and optimizing the collection of outstanding receivables. This position offers a clear path for career advancement into corporate finance or broader accounting roles within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly accounts receivable portfolio and contribute to financial reporting efforts.
• Assess customer payment patterns to evaluate credit risk and financial health.
• Perform detailed reviews of outstanding receivables and initiate timely collection actions.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to pricing, allowances, and payment variances.
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping, including customer communications and account reconciliations.
• Partner with internal teams—sales, finance, and customer service—to identify and address root causes of AR challenges.
• Engage directly with clients via phone and email to manage receivables, conduct credit assessments, and handle B2B collection

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in accounts receivable.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in B2B collections.
• Proficient in using mid-to-large ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel capabilities, including proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
