Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our team. The role involves ensuring the safety and efficiency of loader operations by performing regular equipment inspections, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and effectively communicating with team members.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre and post inspections of equipment and report any safety hazards promptly.
- Address and mitigate safety hazards or concerns.
- Complete and submit all required documentation on time.
- Efficiently load trucks and carry materials as needed.
- Continuously communicate with the Plant Tower Operator for Scale Weighmaster.
- Keep the pad level and loading area clear of debris.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and operational safety.
- Perform utility tasks such as shoveling and water hosing when necessary.
- Engage in miscellaneous tasks with the loader as assigned by management.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Adhere to all safety checks, rules, and regulations.
- Mechanical skills
- Troubleshooting abilities
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Experience in concrete and utilities maintenance
- 2+ years of mechanical industrial maintenance experience
- 2+ years of front end loader experience

Work Environment
The role is based in a concrete yard at the Port of Tampa, where you will operate in an outdoor setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.00/hr.
