Job Description
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Lease Analyst to assist with the creation and performance of lease abstracts for new leases and amendments.
- This role involves inputting cash receipts, handling invoicing, and entering lease information into our property management software.
- The ideal candidate will have the ability to interpret leases and lease languages, maintain pass-through worksheets, review leases and abstractions, and work closely with property managers to address tenant account issues.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and performing abstracts for new leases and amendments.
- Pull and provide documents for abstract packages.
- Input cash receipts and perform invoicing related to properties.
- Enter lease information into property management software.
- Interpret leases and lease languages for system entry and reporting.
- Set up and maintain worksheets for Common Area Maintenance and Real Estate Taxes.
- Review leases and abstractions.
- Collaborate with Property Managers to resolve outstanding tenant account issues.
- Maintain and assure quality of data abstracted and entered into the database.
- Review invoices to ensure alignment with tenant obligations.
- Interact with landlords and assist in creating standard forms, policies, and procedures.
Essential Skills
- Experience in real estate, particularly commercial real estate.
- Proficiency in Excel and property management software.
- Understanding of lease contracts, accounts payable/receivable.
- Knowledge of lease abstraction and Common Area Maintenance (CAM).
- 1-3 years of experience in commercial real estate/property leasing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with commercial leases, abstracts, and amendments is preferred.
- Candidates with AP/AR/Billing experience who have exposure to commercial real estate/property are welcome to apply.
Work Environment
The position offers a hybrid work model, requiring in-office presence every other Monday through Thursday (8 days a month).
Compensation:$24.04
