Job Description

We are seeking skilled individuals with experience in automotive repair who are eager to be cross-trained in the repair and overhaul of landing gear. Candidates must possess mechanical assembly experience and the ability to read from prints. Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and basic hand tools on a daily basis is essential.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul landing gear components.
• Perform mechanical assembly tasks as per design prints.
• Utilize calipers, micrometers, and hand tools for accurate measurements and repairs.
• Conduct troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic systems.
• Engage in engine diagnostics and maintenance of brake systems.
• Work on fuel systems, transmissions, and suspensions.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of automotive repair experience focusing on brakes, engines, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
• Experience with assembly, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs.
• Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and performing calibration.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with aviation, automotive, recreational vehicles, boats, military fleet, or ground support equipment is advantageous.

Work Environment

The role is based in a back shop environment with a schedule of Monday to Friday, from 7am to 3:30pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Titusville, FL.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
