Job Title: General Laborer
Job Description
Perform general labor, including assisting with equipment such as trucks, trailers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and lift gates. Support clean‑up and decontamination activities while following safety procedures. Complete manual labor tasks such as sweeping, shoveling, lifting, pushing, and pulling. Help prepare equipment, maintain basic inventory and daily logs, and keep work areas clean and organized. Work safely around various materials and chemicals, communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers, and assist with job‑site coordination as needed.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Titusville, Florida
Work Environment
Work outside in very hot temperatures, in confined spaces, and around hazardous chemicals. Work at elevated heights and in noisy conditions with heavy industrial equipment. Confined space work includes petroleum tanks and wastewater treatment tanks.. Technicians average 55 hours/week, varying between 40 and 80 hours depending on projects. Crews typically consist of 3-5 people, including a driver, equipment operator, and general laborer.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school graduate or GED Equivalent
2 years of experience, performing labor intensive work, in an environmental, construction or heavy industrial environment is preferred.
Ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
Ability to learn and adhere to proper safety procedures.
Ability to work in all weather and environmental conditions (i.e. sun, rain, cold, swamp, ditches, dirt).
Must be able to lift and carry up to forty-five (50) pounds of bulky equipment.
Ability to bend, stoop, sit and stand.
Drum procession and sampling.
Tank cleaning.
Spill Crew Member.
General Construction.
Equipment decontamination.
Vehicle and equipment maintenance.
Use of all levels of PPE.
Equipment preparation.
Keep accurate field log book.
Manual labor, sweep, shovel, push and pull.
Team member for all types.
Upholds the ethics and values of the company.
Other duties as necessary.
High School Graduate
One (1) years’ experience in environmental, construction, contracting type work, preferred.
Excavator, Skid-steer, Bulldozer, Forklift and other heavy equipment operation, preferred.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
