We are seeking a dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our facility. This role is ideal for someone with general maintenance experience who enjoys hands‑on work and takes pride in keeping a building running smoothly.
About the Role
The Facilities Maintenance Technician will perform routine maintenance, basic repairs, and general facility support to ensure a safe and efficient environment for staff, residents, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic facilities maintenance, including minor repairs, inspections, and general upkeep
- Assist with routine maintenance of building systems (lighting, plumbing, HVAC filters, etc.)
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Support safety and compliance standards throughout the facility
- Coordinate with outside vendors when needed
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and storage spaces
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience in medical or nursing home environments is a strong plus.
- Basic facilities maintenance experience
- Ability to perform minor repairs and general building upkeep
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks as needed
Preferred:
- Experience working in a medical facility or nursing home environment
- Familiarity with healthcare safety standards and regulations
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Venice, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
