Job Description
As a Benefits Enrollment Specialist, you will provide excellent customer service to employees and field partners through various communication mediums, including phone calls and inbound and outbound communications. You will educate employees about their benefits, enrollment processes, and choices, offering guidance to worksite employees regarding benefit plans to ensure optimal customer service levels. Your role involves researching and resolving product and service issues from internal partners, clients, and worksite employees to ensure accurate and timely responses. You will document information and interactions in applicable systems, ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and laws. Maintaining knowledge of all systems, processes, and changes pertaining to various benefit plans and regulatory changes is crucial to ensure compliance with departmental processes and company guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to worksite employees regarding benefit plans.
- Research and resolve product and service issues from internal partners, clients, and worksite employees.
- Document information and interactions in applicable systems.
- Understand and reference benefit documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain knowledge of all systems, processes, and changes pertaining to benefit plans.
- Collaborate with team members to share tasks, ideas, and responsibilities.
- Prepare and process basic benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, and adjustments.
- Participate in the annual enrollment process and training, education, and follow-up.
- Utilize problem resolution and critical thinking techniques to assist customers.
- Provide professional communication in all interactions.
- Demonstrate strong prioritization and organizational skills.
- Meet all KPIs through adherence to business schedules, responsiveness, and SLAs.
