Job Title: Shipping Clerk - 1st Shift and 2nd Shift
Job Description
The Materials Associate is responsible for the receipt, warehousing, and issuance of materials and components to support the production of small drones. This role involves processing shipping and receiving, preparing products for freight shipments, and assisting the Shipping & Receiving Manager with accurate shipment processing. The associate will collaborate with inventory and purchasing groups to manage material consumption, replenishment, and storage, focusing on key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, part quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming shipments efficiently.
- Prepare products for freight shipments according to company standards.
- Assist the Shipping & Receiving Manager with accurate shipment processing.
- Collaborate with inventory and purchasing teams to manage material consumption and replenishment.
- Ensure that production components are transferred to inventory and placed in storage timely.
- Maintain material traceability, inventory locations, and accuracy.
- Focus on key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and part quality.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills
- Quality control
- AS9100 certification
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Warehouse and logistics experience
- Experience with picking, cycle counts, and inventory management
- Experience with Netsuite and RF scanner
- WMS and ERP systems knowledge
- Ability to handle material handling and packaging
- Strong attention to detail and order accuracy
- Ability to multitask with little supervision
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of fast-paced warehouse experience
- Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent customer service
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- U.S. Person status required for access to export-controlled data

Work Environment

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
