Description
Generating a qualified sales pipeline You will be responsible for engaging prospective mid-market customers and identifying opportunities to introduce them to the value of our omnichannel marketing platform. Outbound selling motion where you may be calling out to customers already engaged on our platform and doing outreach in hopes of getting them to upgrade As the first line of communication with prospects and current customers, ideal candidates have a strong understanding of the sales process, starting new relationships, and setting our Account Executives up for success. Own initial discovery conversations with prospective customers Dissect and qualify prospects' business goals to determine if Mailchimp can be a strategic investment for their business' growth Translate Mailchimp’s features into benefits for the customer Offer competitive insights as to why Mailchimp is, or is not, a good fit for each prospective customer’s needs Meet /exceed defined productivity and quality metrics Appointments: ~10-12/day Selling multiple products - cloud-based
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Top 3 skills: (1) Outbound sales experience (2) pipeline management experience (3) ability to handle multiple software systems 3+ years of experience in a sales development or lead generation role, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment. Proven ability to hit or exceed targets in a fast-paced environment. High level of business acumen and a foundational understanding of marketing concepts. Strong drive for results and the ability to deal with ambiguity. Experience with CRM (Salesforce), Sales Engagement Platform (Outreach) and prospecting tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo) Tech savviness and ability to maneuver through systems and adapt quickly Working knowledge of Salesforce goes a really long way
