Loss Mitigation Representative – 100% Remote
We are currently seeking experienced Loss Mitigation Representatives to support a high-volume mortgage servicing team. This is a fully remote, contract opportunity with strong potential for extension or conversion based on performance and business needs.
Position Overview
In this role, you will serve as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for borrowers in the early stages of delinquency. You will guide customers through the loss mitigation process, helping them understand repayment options, navigate available programs, and manage their accounts effectively.
This position begins with a blend of administrative responsibilities and customer interaction and transitions into a more call-driven role focused on repayment support and account resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for assigned borrowers
- Handle inbound and outbound calls related to mortgage accounts and delinquency status
- Assist customers with repayment plans and loss mitigation solutions
- Clearly explain available programs, next steps, and account updates
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and written communication
- Address collections-related issues with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy
- Gather, review, and update required documentation and case files
- Process payments and educate customers on financial implications
- Perform skip tracing and maintain up-to-date borrower contact information
Required Qualifications
- Experience in loss mitigation, mortgage collections, or mortgage customer service
- Strong call center experience in a high-volume environment
- Ability to manage sensitive financial conversations with professionalism and empathy
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience working as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC)
- Background in debt collections within financial services or banking
- Familiarity with mortgage servicing processes, guidelines, and regulations
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Must be available to work either:
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
- 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
- Occasional Saturday shifts may be required
Work Environment
- 100% Remote
- Fast-paced, high-volume call center setting
- Ability to manage multiple borrower accounts and tasks simultaneously
- Company-provided equipment
- Must have a reliable, high-speed internet connection
Compensation & Details
- Pay Rate: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Overtime: Eligible at 1.5x pay
- Employment Type: Contract
- Duration: Approximately 6–8 months (potential for extension or conversion)
- Open Positions: 10

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
