Job Title: CNC Multi Craft Maintenance Technician III

Pay: $30.97 - $40.22hr + $1.50 Shift Differential

Shift: Thursday - Saturday 7:00PM - 7:30AM - Overtime Available

Job Description

The CNC Multi Craft Maintenance Technician III is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing and facility equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role involves performing advanced maintenance on CNC production equipment and facility systems, working with minimal supervision, and supporting preventive maintenance and continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose equipment issues using voltmeters and precision measuring instruments.
  • Maintain maintenance records and track equipment service schedules.
  • Support coolant systems, scrap removal, lighting, HVAC filters, plumbing, and general facility upkeep.
  • Fabricate and repair parts; perform fitting, alignment, and machine repairs.
  • Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and complex drawings.
  • Maintain safe work practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Support 6S standards, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Provide leadership and direction in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with CNC machines, servo motors, controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Apprenticeship or equivalent technical training preferred.

Work Environment

This position is set in a clean, temperature-controlled environment. It requires the ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and work around machinery. The role involves working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, and equipment. Personal protective equipment must be worn. Shifts include Thursday to Saturday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, with potential overtime and off-shift call-ins based on operational needs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Black Creek, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.97 - $41.72/hr.
