Job Description
As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for performing essential maintenance tasks and ensuring the quality of machinery and products. This role involves frequent bending and lifting of up to 50 pounds, performing PC functions related to maintenance, and working closely with a maintenance technician to complete repairs and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a maintenance technician to complete repairs and troubleshoot machinery issues.
- Ensure the quality of machinery and products through effective maintenance practices.
- Enter parts inventory into the work system.
- Complete work orders, including comments and parts associated with them.
- Submit purchasing requisitions for necessary parts.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in problem solving and repair.
- Experience with troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge of pneumatics and chemical processes.
- Degree in Industrial Maintenance or a similar field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.

Work Environment
Work in a clean and well-maintained chemical environment. The position operates during the third shift from Sunday to Thursday, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with mandatory overtime starting at 8:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.50 - $26.50/hr.
