The Civil Engineer in the EPC Division plays a crucial role in supporting front-end engineering design (FEED) and construction management for foundation design in high-voltage substation projects. This position is vital in developing substation proposals, contributing to overall design efforts, and offering subject matter expertise in foundation engineering for ongoing EPC and package projects.
Responsibilities- Support front-end engineering design (FEED) for foundation design in high-voltage substation projects.
- Contribute to construction management and develop substation proposals.
- Provide expertise in foundation engineering for EPC and package projects.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and Department Team Leader.
- Civil Engineering Degree
- 3+ years of experience in Civil Engineering and Design
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, foundation design, and geotechnical engineering
- Experience with Geotechnical engineering/design and Foundation engineering/design
- Experience with software like FAD, Shaft 3D, Mat 3D, Ensoft, RISA Foundation, STAAD, PLS Pole, MathCAD
- EIT or PE certification is a plus, but not necessary
The work environment is typically from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with the option for a hybrid schedule after starting in-office full-time. Relocation packages are available for candidates willing to move closer to the office. The foundations group consists of 5 people, with the civil team adding another 2 members. Most team members work in-office, with one member following a hybrid schedule. The role involves managing less than 5 projects at a time and reporting to the team lead within the civil department. The company supports professional growth by offering reimbursements for classes to obtain EIT certification or a PE license.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $150000.00/hr.
