The Master Driver responsible for generating and validating all Program drivers' license requests for employees. The Master driver ensures that the section Master Drivers/Trainers are all qualified and have up to date information to instruct employees in the safe operation of vehicles and equipment. The position may involve collaboration with peers and resources across other global locations, to review current processes and technology. The Master Driver will have a professional attitude. Apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. In problem solving, develop solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity where analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors.

Responsibilities
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts the Drivers Training Program
- Ensures Section Master Drivers are all qualified and have up dated information for instructing employees on vehicles operations.
- Proper handling of PII or sensitive information.
- Provide training in accordance with AR 600-55, the Army Drivers Selection and Operator Standardization Program or the most current industry military standards.
- Maintain oversight of commercial and non-tactical vehicle operating training program.
- Establish an effective training program on operating tactical and non-tactical vehicles/equipment.
- Ensures assigned operators, license instructors, and licensing personnel are trained and licensed IAW AR 600-55.
- Ensures that all licensed drivers are given annual sustainment training IAW company policy and AR 600-55; ensures training records are updated accordingly.
- Ensures AR 385-55 the Army Regulation for the prevention of motor vehicle accidents are emphasized in training.
- Monitors drivers performance, and where appropriate, drivers with good performance records receive for sustained performance.
- Develops guidance for interviewing and selecting driver candidates and suggested interview questions.
- Monitors records and performance of drivers to determine if remedial training is needed.
- Ensures all section license instructors have an appointed license instructor and a valid copy of appointment orders.
- Ensures personnel receive proper training on performing PMCS.
- Conduct reviews of operators records for accuracy and completeness as required.
- Attends all accident review boards and provide input/recommendation.
- Ensure that all drivers' information is uploaded in the company database.
- Assist with inspection and checking all sections periodically and randomly.
- Provide feedback on the quality of the drivers training program to Quality Manager.
- Ensure that all Corporate DOT guidelines are met.
- Conduct required DOT urinalysis as required
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to operate standard office equipment, such as a computer, multi- functional copier, fax, and office phone.
- Work will typically be conducted in a temperature-controlled office environment in a stationary position approximately 75 percent of the time or more with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
- May be exposed to outside weather such as exposure to heat, cold, and warehouse environments.
- Must be able to stand and walk within work sites 6-8 hours a day in performance of duties.
- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading. Sedentary work.
- Must be able to function in office environment in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain driver's license.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a CDL Driver's license.
- Possession of a Master Driver Trainer Certificate from an accredited agency desired
- Must have at least two years' experience as a contractor or military master driver /master trainer and instructor on military vehicles.
- Must be team oriented; possess excellent organizational, time management and writing skills to include analyses.
- Must be computer and software literate, experienced in Microsoft applications.
- Must have good platform skills and experienced in classroom instruction.
- Familiar with U.S. military branches of service.
- Excellent customer service skills; clear and coherent speech; ability to work with others
- Ability to present technical information clearly and simply.
- Ability to perform to standards of AR 600-55.
