Job Description
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to manage a portfolio of complex accounts across multiple sales channels. The role includes initiating customer calls, generating delinquent notices, account adjustments, reconciliations, and monthly reporting. The ideal candidate will evaluate and identify opportunities for process improvements that positively impact the business and customer experience. You will recommend and lead initiatives to achieve operational excellence and drive continuous improvement in collections, customer service, and processes. Strategic thinking, operational management, and risk alignment are essential skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Receivable portfolio of complex accounts driven by work queue strategies.
- Initiate customer calls and generate delinquent notices.
- Conduct account adjustments and reconciliations.
- Prepare and deliver monthly reporting.
- Regularly evaluate and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Recommend and lead initiatives for operational excellence.
- Participate in and support systems improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify problems and propose solutions.
- Manage trends of unpaid balances and work closely with customers to recommend solutions.
- Research and resolve unpaid balances, short-paid balances, pricing discrepancies, deductions, misapplied payments, and credit memos.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of rebates and promotional programs.
Essential Skills
- 4+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable / Credit & Collections.
- Strong analytical and technical skills including Outlook and Excel (Pivot Tables, X-lookups).
- Oracle experience is highly preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid schedule, requiring in-office presence from Tuesday to Thursday. The role demands comfort with working remotely and achieving metrics in a remote environment. The team comprises five full-time employees who work cohesively and support each other, especially when someone is out. Open feedback and accountability are encouraged. The standard working hours are 8am-5pm EST.
