Job Description
We’re hiring Residential Security Installation Technicians to install and service alarm systems, CCTV, and access control equipment in residential environments. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role ideal for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, solving problems, and making a meaningful impact in people’s lives. No prior experience is required—just a great attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
What You’ll Do
- Install and program burglar alarms, CCTV (IP & analog), DVRs, and access control systems
- Set up window breaks, door sensors, smoke detectors, and related devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve signal issues to ensure system functionality
- Perform field visits to customer homes and provide white-glove service
- Test and verify equipment signals and train customers on system usage
- Complete job documentation, inventory tracking, and customer paperwork
- Maintain accurate truck inventory and cost all parts used per job
- Ensure high-quality installations with minimal callbacks

- Ability to lift, climb, and work in attics or confined spaces
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have
- Experience with low-voltage systems, CCTV, AV, or residential electronics
- Background in construction, landscaping, maintenance, or warehouse work
- Familiarity with tools and materials like coax, Cat5/Cat6, HDMI, drywall, or fencing
- Forklift, HVAC, or home theater experience

Work Environment & Requirements
- Field-based role with daily travel to customer homes (start time: 8:00 AM)
- Must be comfortable working in various home environments (clean, messy, high-end, etc.)
- Must be punctual, professional, and adaptable to different customer needs
- Dress code: navy work pants and royal/navy polo (no visible tattoos or piercings)
- Must provide own tools (12-ft ladder, drill, wire cutters, etc.); tools not required on day one
