Job Description

As a production technician, you will engage in frequent bending and lifting of up to 50 pounds, perform PC functions related to maintenance, and work alongside a maintenance technician to complete repairs and troubleshooting to ensure the quality of machinery and products. You will also be responsible for entering parts inventory into the work system, completing work orders, including comments and parts associated with work orders, and processing purchasing requisitions for parts.

Responsibilities

• Frequent bending and lifting of 50 pounds.
• Performing PC functions related to maintenance.
• Collaborating with a maintenance technician to complete repairs and troubleshoot machinery and products.
• Entering parts inventory into the work system.
• Completing work orders, including comments and parts associated with work orders.
• Processing purchasing requisitions for parts.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Problem-solving and repair skills.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshooting expertise.
• Knowledge of pneumatics.
• Preventive maintenance skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Maintenance or a similar field, OR an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Emerson, GA.

The pay range for this position is $26.50 - $30.00/hr.
