The Material Handler plays a critical role in supporting daily warehouse and production operations by ensuring that all materials, components, and supplies are accurately received, organized, stored, and delivered to the appropriate work areas. This position is responsible for maintaining efficient material flow throughout the facility, operating material-handling equipment safely, and upholding inventory accuracy. The Material Handler also contributes to overall operational excellence by maintaining a clean and orderly workspace, following established quality and safety procedures, and assisting production teams to ensure uninterrupted workflow. This role directly impacts productivity, safety, and the timely completion of customer orders.
Responsibilities- Clean and prepare forms for painting and repair.
- Assemble, disassemble, and replace components as needed.
- Supply production employees with materials by identifying and locating parts.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, docks, and production zones.
- Assist with unloading trucks, containers, and other deliveries.
- Read and analyze warehouse paperwork to ensure accuracy.
- Verify that all items are received and placed in their proper storage locations.
- Inspect and operate material-handling equipment safely and correctly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Organize incoming materials and follow all quality processes.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including tools and equipment.
- Organize and maintain storage locations such as pallets, racks, and shelves.
- Ensure all products are properly labeled and returned to the correct location.
- Follow all federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Identify and correct potential safety hazards.
- Adhere to all company safety rules and procedures.
- Use required personal protective equipment at all times.
- Report or correct equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, material issues, or product deviations.
- Act with integrity—be responsible, trustworthy, and respectful.
- Deliver quality work by following standard processes and making data-driven decisions.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment is dirty and non-climate controlled. The shift typically runs from 7 AM to 5 PM.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Forest Park, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
