Position summary: Conducts routine and non-routine chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. Updates and maintains analysis spreadsheets for raw materials, intermediate, and finished products. Tasks: • Conducts routine and non-routine analysis on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. • Collects, analyzes, and interprets data related to quality, identifying trends, and reporting findings to the Quality Manager. • Creates and maintains Quality Control Analysis procedures. • Maintains laboratory equipment and laboratory supplies. • Assists Quality Manager with ISO and Environmental related activities. • Adheres to all safety procedures and uses all required personal protective equipment. • Upholds the safety and quality standard of the Company. • Other duties assigned by management.

Skills: • Strong attention to detail: A critical skill for identifying deviations from quality standards. • Analytical and problem-solving skills: Essential for analyzing data, identifying root causes of issues, and developing solutions. • Communication and interpersonal skills: Needed for effective collaboration, training, and reporting. • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting: Essential for tracking performance and identifying areas for improvement. • Organizational and time management skills: Important for managing multiple tasks and priorities. Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. frequently • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (>3 hrs continuously.) • Must be able to walk frequently. • Must be able to bend, reach, squat, stoop, and kneel to floor level frequently. Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent of 4+ years’ work experience in a Quality Control/Quality Assurance Role. • Previous Lab experience preferred but not required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Griffin, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
