Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician
Location: Lafayette, GA and Chattanooga, TN
Job Description
- 1st shift (6am-4:30pm) with guaranteed overtime weekly!
- $18-$22 starting pay rates.
- Responsible for the mechanical assembly of heavy equipment components using blueprints. Assemble body components and electrical wiring, focusing on all chassis electromechanical and side body components.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly of heavy equipment components.
- Utilize blueprints to assemble body components and electrical wiring.
- Assemble all chassis electromechanical and side body components of trucks.
Essential Skills
- Use of hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read tape measure or blueprint-style work instructions.
- Mechanically inclined with attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with tools such as 1/2 inch impact, 3/4 impact, 9mm wrench, 3/8 impact, 1 inch impact, hydraulic hose assembly, 19mm extensions, and 19mm sockets.
- Familiarity with heavy machinery, vehicle maintenance, automotive service, automotive repair, engine repair, assembly line operations, schematics, and preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, construction equipment, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
