Job Description

The Machine Operator (Orbital Welding) is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining orbital welding equipment to produce high-quality welds on tubing, piping, and related components. This role ensures compliance with engineering drawings, welding procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Responsibility

• Set up, operate, and maintain orbital welding equipment.
• Produce high-quality welds on tubing, piping, and related components.
• Ensure compliance with engineering drawings and welding procedures.
• Adhere to safety standards and quality requirements.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding procedures.
• Knowledge of stainless-steel tubing/piping and basic welding principles.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic inspection tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with calipers, micrometers, and ability to read a tape measure.
• Preferred: Welding certifications or experience in high purity/regulated industries.

Work Environment

Work in a facility equipped with advanced orbital welding equipment. The schedule includes on-site interviews available between 8am-11am or 1pm-3pm, lasting approximately 30-45 minutes. The workplace prioritizes safety and adherence to industry standards, fostering a professional and detail-oriented atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Powder Springs, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
