Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Federal Construction Estimator with expertise in RSmeans, 4clicks, and Job Order Contract (JOC) knowledge. The role is based in Kings Bay, GA, and involves estimating for new projects open for bidding.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates using RSmeans and 4clicks software.
• Manage Job Order Contracts and oversee bidding processes.
• Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure accurate estimations.
• Attend site visits as needed to gather data for project bids and meet deadlines.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in Federal Construction Estimating.
• Proficiency in using RSmeans and 4clicks estimating software.
• Strong knowledge of Job Order Contracts (JOC).
• Ability to manage construction estimation projects effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in construction management.
• Familiarity with construction estimating software.
• Capability to work remotely with the ability to travel as needed.

Work Environment

The position is ideally suited for candidates local to Jacksonville, Florida, but remote work is possible. The role requires occasional on-site visits to Kings Bay, GA for project bids and deadlines. The company offers flexibility in work arrangements and is willing to cover per diem and travel expenses due to the backlog of work in the Southeast region.
