Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist II to join our team in Woodstock. The successful candidate will perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Responsibilities also include collecting specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests, as well as data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner. You will be tasked with preparing all collected specimens for testing and analysis while maintaining patient and specimen information logs. Providing superior customer service to all patients and performing necessary administrative and clerical duties are also part of the role.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests.
- Enter patient information accurately and promptly.
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
- Maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all patients.
- Handle administrative and clerical tasks as needed.

Work Environment
The position is based in an outpatient setting at Gl Specialists of Georgia Inc, located at 118 Mill Street, Suite 110, Woodstock, GA. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with an hour for lunch. You will handle approximately 15 draws per day, including specialized tests like HPalory and lactose tolerance tests. The role involves working with a significant number of stool samples, often involving drop-off procedures.
