Structures Superintendent (Concrete)

Actalent is in search of a Superintendent whose role encompasses overseeing large-scale concrete and structural construction efforts for various components, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project schedules. The Superintendent will coordinate subcontractors, manage onsite operations, provide technical expertise, and collaborate with project management to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.

Essential Functions

• Supervise construction efforts to ensure projects are constructed safely and in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions (e.g., scheduling, subcontractor coordination).
• Ensure compliance of craft workers and subcontractors with contract requirements, efficient use of materials and equipment, site safety plan, and timely performance of the project schedule.
• Provide technical assistance, including interpretation of drawings and recommending construction methods and equipment.
• Assist project management in developing project schedules, site logistics plans, and implementing project procedures, working documents, and standards.
• Support Site-Specific Safety Plan.
• Coordinate with on-site Owner employees.
• Perform additional assignments as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

• 15+ years of construction experience.
• Experience as a superintendent on projects valued from $25M-$750M
• Knowledge, skills, and experience with U.S. construction methods, techniques, and standards.
• Experience with City, State, and Federal Government clients preferred.
• Knowledge of contract management and familiarity with local trade/unions/craft.
• OSHA 500 certification, CPR & First Aid certifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Honolulu, HI.

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $210000.00/yr.
