Actalent is seeking a Licensed Architect with leadership experience who lives in Hawaii, is knowledgeable of Hawaii Codes and Industry standards, and possesses a great client facing personality to join a renowned firm with commendable projects in Hawaii. This firm has an extreme backlog of work with various local developers.
Summary:
This position acts as the primary client contact for each project in the studio, leading the project team, and collaborating with the Principal In Charge (PIC) to produce architectural design that meets client standards. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate all aspects of the project to the client, and provide overall project leadership and oversight, internally and externally, through all phases of the project. Additional responsibilities include ongoing review of projects to ensure full adherence to the program requirements, budget, schedule, and design intern, working with business development and marketing to respond to RFP’s, competitions and project proposals, and mentoring project teams.
Qualifications:
- Architectural experience in multi‐family and mixed‐use developments required
- Architectural experience in hospitality preferred
- Working knowledge of current construction methods, procedures and costs
- Understanding of contract language for architectural services
- Strong written and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and design
Education:
- Bachelors in Architecture required.
- Licensed Architect in the State of Hawaii required.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
