The Technical Lead / Power Platform Manager is a manager-level technical leader responsible for defining enterprise architectural direction and leading high-impact, large-scale initiatives across mission-critical systems. This role serves as the Power Platform Technical Lead, providing hands-on and strategic leadership in Microsoft Azure, Power Automate, and Power BI while influencing long-term technology strategy, governance, and modernization efforts. This position may be remote, however candidates must be able to work aligned to Hawaii Standard Time (HST).
Responsibilities
- Define architectural direction across enterprise platforms and mission‑critical systems
- Serve as the Power Platform Technical Lead, with hands-on expertise in Azure, Power Automate, and Power BI
- Lead large-scale, high-visibility strategic and modernization initiatives
- Establish engineering governance, standards, and enterprise best practices
- Influence long-term technology roadmaps and enterprise technical decisions
- Provide executive-level technical guidance and communicate complex solutions to stakeholders
- Resolve complex, high-impact architectural, integration, and production challenges
- Lead, mentor, and manage engineers and technical teams
- Ensure scalability, security, and compliance across enterprise platforms
Qualifications
- 6+ years of progressive technical experience, including leadership or manager level
- Strong expertise in enterprise architecture and strategic technical decision-making
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power BI, and deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and influence executive stakeholders
- Strong executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Architecture or cloud certifications preferred, including:
- AWS Solutions Architect – Professional
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- TOGAF
- Google Professional Cloud Architect
This is a Contract position based out of Honolulu, HI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $76.00/hr.
