Business Analyst – Property Management System Upgrade

MUST BE LOCATED IN Hawai'i - 4 days on site

At TEKsystems we are supporting a local organization seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support a property management systems implementation project. The ideal candidate will have experience eliciting and documenting complex requirements, working within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Elicit business, functional, non-functional, and technical requirements using various techniques (interviews, workshops, surveys, site visits, etc.).
• Analyze and document requirements using standard templates and natural language.
• Prepare RFP documentation and assess vendor proposals for alignment with business needs.
• Create and manage testing artifacts including test plans, scripts, data, defect tracking, and user sign-off.
• Develop business process flows using Microsoft Visio and facilitate stakeholder meetings to finalize future-state processes.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to support cost analysis and solution planning (on-premises or cloud-hosted).
• Assist in developing training materials and project communications for future phases.
• Produce SDLC artifacts such as state diagrams, use cases, UI prototypes, ERDs, and data dictionaries.
• Partner with internal teams and subject matter experts to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Conduct feasibility studies and recommend system implementations or enhancements.
• Support departmental automation efforts and evaluate system modification requests.
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and project teams to ensure successful delivery.

Preferred Skills

·       3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst

·       Experience with Property Management Systems; SDLC project work

·       Strong analytical and documentation skills

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and other business analysis tools
