We are seeking a skilled welder to perform welding and fabrication tasks using MIG, TIG, or other welding techniques. The role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions, as well as preparing and cleaning metal surfaces for welding. You will operate welding machines, hand tools, and measuring instruments to ensure precise and high-quality welds, inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards, and maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring proper function and cleanliness. You will also follow all company safety protocols and participate in regular safety training, work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals, and assist in other metal fabrication tasks as needed.
Responsibilities- Perform welding and fabrication tasks using MIG, TIG, or other welding techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Prepare and clean metal surfaces for welding.
- Operate welding machines, hand tools, and measuring instruments to ensure precise and high-quality welds.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring proper function and cleanliness.
- Follow all company safety protocols and participate in regular safety training.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
- Assist in other metal fabrication tasks as needed.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Proficiency in MIG welding and using a tape measure.
- Ability to use an angle and weld T-joints.
- Fabrication skills.
- Prior manufacturing experience.
- AWS 1.1 certification.

Work EnvironmentThis position is located in a manufacturing facility with a production team of 12. The work environment exposes you to heat, sparks, and welding fumes. The role requires extended periods of standing, bending, and manual labor, including heavy lifting, maneuvering metal components, and handling tools. Personal protective equipment, including welding helmets, gloves, fire-resistant clothing, steel-toed footwear, and safety glasses, must be worn in designated areas.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $62400.00/yr.
