Job Title: Construction Site Superintendent

*Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Site Superintendent to lead our multifamily construction projects. The ideal candidate will provide overall leadership for on-site field administration, supervision, and technical management, working alongside the team to ensure successful project completion.

*Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for on-site field administration, supervision, and technical management for all construction operations.
• Directly supervise assistants, foremen, subcontractors, and other construction-related personnel.
• Assist Preconstruction and Project Management in developing an initial project schedule and communicating sequence and schedule updates to all subcontractors and vendors.
• Develop, implement, maintain, and enforce a project site-specific safety program in accordance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and local, state, and federal laws.
• Facilitate communication between site workers, architects, engineers, and stakeholders. Actively participate and/or lead various meetings, including post-bid, buyout, Owner/Architect/Contractor, coordination, lead team, subcontractor, staff, scheduling, and post-mortem meetings.
• Perform and monitor all job site control reporting measures, including daily reports, payroll, quantity reporting, accident and incident reports, and timesheets.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager to develop a general conditions budget and manage and control the budget through labor cost reporting.
• Coordinate and manage all material deliveries, subcontracts, and self-perform work. Ensure timely project completion through project scheduling, expediting of material deliveries, and the management of material and document submittals/approvals.
• Manage preconstruction to close-out phases of projects and juggle multiple jobs simultaneously.

*Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of commercial carpentry or commercial construction experience.
• Strong skills/experience in construction management, supervision, and project management.
• Ability to assign tasks and manage a crew.
• Experience with subcontractor management and construction supervision.
• Knowledge of metal framing and wood framing.

*Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with 35-500 unit apartment buildings.
• Experience with Procore and Bluebeam software is a plus.

*Work Environment: All work will be local, allowing you to be home at night. While the company is family-oriented, there may be a need for overtime if the project calls for it. The work environment encourages collaboration and growth, using modern technologies and fostering a strong team spirit.

This is a Permanent position based out of Ankeny, IA.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
