Welder – 22+/hr (Bettendorf, IA)

1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Mon-Fri)

2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM (Mon-Thurs)

About the Opportunity

Seeking motivated Welders to join our growing team in Bettendorf, IA.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on auger flyte components
• Grind and clean parts to remove weld metal and ensure proper finish
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
• Use calipers and micrometers to measure auger flyte
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Assist in prepping bays and supporting helpers as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• MIG welding experience
• Welding certificate from a high school program or technical school
• Ability to read blueprints
• Understanding of standard weld symbols

Work Environment

• Weld shop with up to 20 welders
• Initial training: 1–2 weeks on 1st shift with a manager
• After training, employees work independently with periodic check-ins
• Collaboration with shop helpers as needed
• Temperature varies; it can get cold in winter when large doors are open

• Jeans (no holes)
• Work boots
• T-shirt
• Dress warm in winter

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bettendorf, IA.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
