Construction Receptionist / Administrator

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Range: $18–$25/hour (based on experience)


Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Construction Receptionist / Administrator to join our team. This role is critical in supporting daily operations, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining compliance across administrative functions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll & Billing: Process payroll and manage billing tasks accurately and on time.
  • Coding & Data Entry: Enter and maintain data with precision for project and financial records.
  • Employee Relations Support: Assist with HR-related inquiries and provide administrative support to employees.
  • Administrative Duties: Handle phone calls, emails, scheduling, and general office tasks.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements; prepare reports as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in administrative or receptionist roles (construction industry experience preferred).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
