Construction CDL Class A/B Dump Truck Drivers!

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Weekends available)

Employment Type: Full‑Time

Pay: $23-$30/hour (based on experience)

Home Every Night

Position Summary

The Construction CDL Dump Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport construction materials such as dirt, rock, sand, gravel, asphalt, and demolition debris to and from active construction jobsites. This role supports earthmoving and excavation operations by ensuring materials are delivered on time, handled safely, and in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and site‑specific safety requirements. Drivers must be comfortable working around heavy equipment, construction crews, and changing site conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate automatic transmission dump trucks on public roads and construction jobsites
• Transport materials including dirt, gravel, sand, asphalt, and demolition debris
• Work closely with excavators, loaders, and jobsite crews during earthmoving phases
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections
• Follow DOT regulations, OSHA standards, and company safety policies
• Navigate uneven terrain, changing site conditions, and active construction zones
• Communicate with supervisors and site personnel to ensure efficient material movement

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B (Required)
• 1+ year of experience driving construction or dump trucks (preferred, not required)
• Willingness to submit to an MVR check, DOT physical, and drug screen
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work in fast‑paced construction environments

Work Environment

• Active construction jobsites during the earthmoving phase of projects
• Work alongside excavating and dirt work crews
• Outdoor work in varying weather and noise conditions

The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $66560.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Cedar Rapids,IA.
