Now Hiring 1st and 2nd Shift MIG Welders (Aluminum Fabrication):

We’re hiring MIG Welders to join our fabrication team. If you take pride in quality workmanship, can read blueprints, and enjoy hands‑on work building large equipment, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
- MIG weld aluminum components used in heavy‑duty equipment
- Tack and weld using .035 wire
- Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and measurements
- Perform standing, positional, and assembly welding
- Climb into bins and confined compartments to complete welds as needed
- Maintain consistent weld quality while following all shop safety standards
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ months of MIG welding experience
- 1+ year of on‑the‑job welding experience
- Experience welding aluminum and/or steel
- Ability to read tape measures and blueprints accurately
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and performing physical tasks
Preferred (Not Required)
- Strong aluminum welding experience
- Mechanical or fabrication assembly experience
- High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Willingness to learn multiple fabrication and welding processes
Work Environment
- General fabrication shop (cooler in winter, warmer in summer)
- Aluminum welding for large, heavy‑duty equipment
- Training provided on 1st shift prior to moving to assigned shift
- PPE and necessary tools provided

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
