Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

As a general laborer, you will work on the production floor, contributing to different lines daily. Tasks include bundling, stacking, or banding products. The work is repetitive, and you will be required to work every other weekend. If you work seven consecutive days without missing a day, you will receive double time pay on Sundays. The Wednesday-Sunday shift focuses on grinding plastic only.

Responsibilities

• Bundle product
• Stack and band products.
• Maintain productivity in a repetitive work environment.
• Work every other weekend, with potential for extra hours if needed.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of general labor experience.
• 1+ years of production experience.
• Ability to stand for 12 hours a day.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in production and general manufacturing.
• Familiarity with manufacturing inspection processes.

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled, and you will work every other weekend. A bubble system is in place, so if someone is absent, you may be asked to work an extra 4 hours. Shifts are as follows: Monday-Friday 3rd shift: 12am-8am OR Wednesday-Sunday 3rd shift: 12am-8am. The dress code includes jeans or long shorts, close-toed shoes (steel-toed not required), and a t-shirt.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Council Bluffs, IA.

The pay range for this position is $21.53 - $22.53/hr.
