Job Title: Revit Drafter
Job Description
The Revit Drafter will be responsible for preparing detailed mechanical system drawings using Revit software. This includes supporting project planning, estimating, and documentation efforts. The role is embedded in the pre-construction phase and requires coordination with internal teams and external consultants. The drafter will interpret technical documents, ensure compliance with industry standards, and contribute to budgeting and cost estimation efforts.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed mechanical system drawings using Revit software.
- Support project planning, estimating, and documentation efforts.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants during the pre-construction phase.
- Interpret technical documents and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Contribute to budgeting and cost estimation efforts.
- Maintain detailed project documentation.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings and provide technical support during construction.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Essential Skills
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience using Autodesk Revit in a professional design or construction setting.
- Strong experience in construction and MEP systems.
- Fluency in interpreting blueprints, technical documents, and project specifications.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Ability to maintain detailed project documentation.
- Comfortable participating in pre-construction meetings.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with design, AutoCAD, BIM, Revit Architecture, MEP, and drafting.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and translate them into accurate Revit models.
