Job Title: Assembly TechnicianJob Description

Join a dynamic team as an Assembly Technician where you will contribute to the creation and support of original designs as well as recently introduced ACPI designs. Our diverse product line includes pressure switches and liquid level (float) switches intended for challenging environments such as aircraft, military electronics, and military vehicles, as well as applications in nuclear power plants, machine tool devices, and railroad equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble various types of pressure and liquid level switches.
  • Utilize hand and power tools effectively in the assembly process.
  • Ensure high standards of quality by performing tasks with attention to detail.
  • Learn and apply soldering techniques as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to assemble products accurately.
Essential Skills
  • 1-2 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Soldering skills are preferred but not required as training will be provided.
  • Good reading and writing skills.
  • Attention to detail and dexterity.
  • Experience with small tool assembly work.

Work Environment

Work in a small, laid-back shop environment with a total of 8 team members, including 3 in the shop. Enjoy music playing on speakers, no dress code, and no requirement for steel-toed boots. You can sit down at your station at certain times of the day, fostering a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
