Seeking a Dedicated and Eager Account Manager within Des Moines!!


Job Description

This role involves managing an assigned book of business, building, expanding, and solidifying relationships with existing clients. The focus is on developing and implementing weekly plans to reach out to clients in person or over the phone, maintaining and establishing relationships, and generating ongoing sales.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement weekly plans for client contact and relationship building.
  • Assess client needs and provide professional solutions.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Prepare and present proposals to clients, addressing questions and working to close sales.
  • Respond promptly to client requests, triggering sales calls and addressing issues with internal teams.
  • Ensure timelines are met and customers have a positive experience.
  • Leverage sales promotions, incentives, and sample literature to maximize sales.
  • Actively prospect for and secure new client opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit sales pipeline reports on a timely basis.
  • Maintain client and prospect accounts records in the CRM system.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and marketplace competition.
  • Attend sales training and team meetings regarding sales updates and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, transparency, and internal policy requirements.
  • Attend business networking events to prospect for new clients.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Excel.
  • Experience in coordinating administrative tasks and data entry.
  • Knowledge of supply sales.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in business or related field with a minimum of one year of sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in account management and customer retention preferred.
  • Office products sales experience and industry knowledge preferred.


Work Environment

The position is based onsite in Des Moines, with office hours from Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. While some flexibility to work from home is available if needed, the company values in-office collaboration and has a great team environment.

Compensation:$55000
