The T1 Help Desk Temp is temp position that works on day-to-day IT Help Desk issues involving WW employees and resolves them following the IT Support process. The Help Desk Temp works quickly and efficiently on tickets submitted to the portal. The Help Desk Technician will work with Help Desk Technicians on these tickets.
Looking for candidates that are comfortable setting up a computer, mouse, keyboard, and phone as this will be the majority of their role onsite. Will also be second point of contact regarding support tickets and will assist with basic support tickets including email, phone, and application support. All support will be with onsite support vs. remote.
Daily Duties:
Will assist with installing equipment (phones, monitors, docking stations, etc.) at desks, working through support tickets, and troubleshooting outlook/email, phones, etc.
Will be using Jira ticketing system.
Configure, Set Up, Support, and Maintain the end-user environment day-to-day:
Equipment: Windows Workstations, Phones, and other IT equipment. Will be working on HP monitors, docking stations, keyboard and mouse. Phones are Cisco.
Software: Microsoft Office, Webex Calling, Internal Web Apps, etc.
Monitor and complete work from the Help Desk ticket queue(s).
Work with end-users (WW Employees) in-person, via phone, email, or other electronic communications channels.
Communicate with end-users politely and professionally, summarize technical information to be easily understood, and in a timely manner.
Work with the Infrastructure team and the Help Desk to close tickets, escalating issues when necessary.
