⚙️ What You’ll Do

Join a skilled maintenance team where you’ll keep machinery and facilities running safely, efficiently, and at peak performance. In this role, you will:

• Repair, replace, and adjust machine components
• Calibrate equipment and troubleshoot issues fast
• Perform preventive maintenance & document completed work
• Support TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities
• Evaluate equipment for upgrades or repairs
• Perform plumbing, basic carpentry, welding, and painting tasks
• Follow lockout/tagout and all safety protocols
• Maintain spare‑parts inventory
• Participate in 5S and Continuous Improvement projects
• Assist with hazardous waste handling
• Help with furniture/equipment moves as needed

🛠️ What You Bring

• 2+ years experience in maintenance or related trades
• Broad maintenance skill set: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, welding, HVAC, pneumatic & hydraulic systems
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, stoop, and maneuver equipment
• Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read & understand schematics, wiring diagrams, and prints
• Experience using testing equipment (electrical, mechanical, fluid power)
• Solid understanding of safety practices, including LOTO & PPE
• Basic reading/math skills & strong attention to detail

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dubuque, IA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
