CNC Machinist | Eldridge, IA | $20+/hr (Based on Experience)

Shifts Available: 2nd and 3rd

Responsibilities

  • Operate and adjust CNC Mill and Lathe tools to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations.
  • Work with provided programs and setups maintained by others.
  • Measure components accurately using precision measuring devices (micrometers, calipers, height stands).
  • Make adjustments to tool offsets to correct feature discrepancies.
  • Follow written instructions from Work Instruction Sheets.
  • Read blueprints and check parts for conformance.

Essential Skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical devices.
  • Basic understanding of machining processes (milling and lathes).
  • Ability to use precision measuring devices and measure to .001.
  • Strong blueprint reading skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with CNC machines is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn M and G code programming.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Broad knowledge of machining techniques and familiarity with cutting tools, G-codes, and M-codes.
  • Experience with Mazak machines is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Mazak, Mori Seiki, Brother, Okuma, Tsugami equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eldridge, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
