Commercial Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Carpenter to perform basic framing and installation of doors, frames, hardware, and casework. Experience in both wood and metal stud framing is highly valued. Candidates with 1-3 years of experience in commercial construction are preferred.

• Perform basic framing for commercial construction projects.
• Install doors, frames, and hardware with precision.
• Carry out casework installations to meet project specifications.
• Utilize both wood and metal stud framing techniques.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are met.

• 2+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Experience with basic framing using either wood or metal.
• Knowledgeable in finish carpentry and metal stud framing.

• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Capability to work in various weather conditions.
• Possession of a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Work in a dynamic commercial construction environment, operating in teams of 3-10 people on-site. Standard working hours are from 7am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, with potential variations throughout the season. The dress code includes boots, jeans, and a t-shirt or sweatshirt. Some projects may require travel up to 60 miles from Fort Dodge.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Dodge, IA.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
