We are seeking a skilled Commercial Carpenter to perform basic framing and installation of doors, frames, hardware, and casework. Experience in both wood and metal stud framing is highly valued. Candidates with 1-3 years of experience in commercial construction are preferred.
Responsibilities- Perform basic framing for commercial construction projects.
- Install doors, frames, and hardware with precision.
- Carry out casework installations to meet project specifications.
- Utilize both wood and metal stud framing techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are met.
- 2+ years of commercial construction experience.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Experience with basic framing using either wood or metal.
- Knowledgeable in finish carpentry and metal stud framing.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Capability to work in various weather conditions.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Work EnvironmentWork in a dynamic commercial construction environment, operating in teams of 3-10 people on-site. Standard working hours are from 7am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, with potential variations throughout the season. The dress code includes boots, jeans, and a t-shirt or sweatshirt. Some projects may require travel up to 60 miles from Fort Dodge.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Dodge, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
