Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
We are in search of a dedicated and mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will have the overall line responsibility from production to packaging. You will work to ensure that the team is efficient and works together harmoniously. Regularly standing, walking, and reaching will be part of your daily tasks.
Responsibilities
- Operate the computer system that manages machines.
- Stack finished products and monitor production.
- Record production data and any issues encountered.
- Ensure products are produced and packaged in correct quantities and specifications.
- Promote teamwork and efficiency within the production team.
- Lift and manage weights as required: 10 lbs regularly, 30 lbs frequently, and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Essential Skills
- 1+ years of machine operating experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to stand on feet for 12-hour shifts.
- Operation of computer systems.
- Quality inspection skills.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Production monitoring.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Iowa City, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
