We are seeking a dedicated technician responsible for maintaining a continuous flow of quality energy to ensure optimal plant operations. The role involves controlling energy systems and maintaining steam pressure for efficient plant functioning.
Responsibilities- Maintain a continuous flow of quality energy for optimal plant operations.
- Control energy systems and maintain steam pressure for plant operations.
- Perform water treatment duties and monitor processes to ensure clean water.
- Sample or test processes and adjust treatment processes as needed.
- Conduct general housekeeping and light maintenance tasks.
- Production, assembly, or agricultural/farm/construction background.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Mechanical, electrical, and construction skills.
- Experience in preventive maintenance.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1+ year of forklift experience.
- 2+ years of manufacturing or farm-related background.

Work EnvironmentWork indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, with exposure to chemicals, pressurized steam, and noisy environments. The role involves working in confined spaces, and exposure to dust, heat, noise, and fumes. The position requires working a rotating day and night shift from 7 AM to 7 PM. Casual dress code is observed, with uniforms and safety equipment, including steel-toed boots, provided.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nevada, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
