What You’ll Do
As a Construction Technician, you’ll assist with a variety of construction and mechanical-related tasks that help projects run safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting skilled tradespeople with installation and jobsite tasks
- Handling tools, materials, and equipment
- Measuring, cutting, and preparing materials as needed
- Maintaining clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Following all safety procedures and wearing required PPE
- Learning trade skills through hands-on, on-the-job experience
No two days are the same, and you’ll be exposed to multiple aspects of construction with opportunities to specialize as you grow.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves
- Entry-level construction, labor, or hands-on work experience (or strong willingness to learn)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work safely in active jobsite environments
- Reliable attendance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience in construction, mechanical work, or skilled trades
- Familiarity with basic hand tools
- Interest in building a long-term career in construction

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nevada, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
