CNC Machinist – 1st Shift
We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join a hands‑on manufacturing team where craftsmanship, collaboration, and growth are valued. This role offers variety in daily work, opportunities to expand your skills, and a supportive shop culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC equipment, including Bridgeport machines, plasma tables, bandsaws, and press brakes (Accupress)
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Support multiple departments as workload requires
- Assist with MIG welding tasks when needed
- Safely operate forklifts and follow shop safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous CNC machining experience required; Bridgeport experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and take accurate measurements
- Comfortable using hand and power tools in a shop environment
- Forklift experience preferred; certification a plus
- Willingness to learn and operate additional equipment as needed
- Team‑oriented mindset with flexibility to assist across operations
- MIG welding experience is a plus, but not required

This is a Permanent position based out of WATERLOO, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $49920.00/yr.
Full company benefits with OMJC as this is a direct placement
