Soldering Technician – 1st Shift (Electronics Manufacturing)
Job Overview
We are hiring five Soldering Technicians for our 1st shift team. This role is part of the rework department, where you will perform detailed hand soldering on printed circuit boards (PCBs) using surface‑mount (SMT) and through‑hole techniques. A large portion of the work requires using a microscope, so comfort with precision, fine‑motor tasks, and close‑up inspection is essential. Candidates must bring prior soldering experience and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hand soldering on PCBs using SMT and through‑hole methods
- Complete detailed soldering work under a microscope
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions accurately
- Ensure precision, quality, and consistency in all soldering tasks
- Complete required soldering certification within the 600‑hour probationary period
Essential Skills & Abilities
- Prior experience in soldering, electronic assembly, or PCB production
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency with hand tools and soldering equipment
- Strong hand dexterity and excellent attention to detail
- Basic computer skills

- Self‑motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks or processes

Work Environment & Schedule
- Clean, well‑lit manufacturing environment with comfortable temperatures
- Moderate noise level
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Overtime: Mandatory; typically completed after the shift (option to start earlier available)
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nampa, ID.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
