Job Description
A fire alarm installer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems in various settings like residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Their duties include assessing fire safety needs, designing systems, installing components like sensors and control panels, testing and inspecting systems, and ensuring compliance with safety codes. They also troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems and educate clients on proper usage.
Responsibilities
- Assess fire safety needs and design appropriate fire alarm systems.
- Install components such as sensors and control panels.
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems, replacing faulty components as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety codes and regulations.
- Educate clients on system functionality and proper usage.
- Nicet Fire Alarm installation certification.
- Experience in fire alarm installation and construction.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and using hand and power tools.
- Ability to travel to various work sites.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
This position offers a direct placement opportunity with competitive pay. Employees receive health insurance, paid time off, and are eligible for a 401k after two years. Additionally, a monthly medical stipend similar to a Health Savings Account (HSA) is provided for various medical expenses.
Work Environment
Work involves traveling to both commercial and residential facilities to install or maintain fire sprinkler systems, including new builds and previously installed systems. Large tools and vehicles for travel to work sites are provided by the company.

This is a Permanent position based out of Nampa, ID.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
Health, vision, dental, 401k with match, PTO, vacation time.

This is a fully onsite position in Nampa,ID.
