Job Description
The Panel Builder / Electrical Assembler will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels according to schematics, layout drawings, and specifications. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels, including mounting components such as circuit breakers, relays, PLCs, and terminal blocks.
- Perform point-to-point wiring and ensure proper labeling of wires and components.
Essential Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electrical assembly preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in panel building or electrical assembly, with industrial automation experience being a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.

Work Environment
The work will take place in two 6,000 sq ft buildings dedicated to panel building and fabrication. This environment is poised for growth, offering a dynamic and expanding workspace.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Addison, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $40.00/hr.
