Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our procurement team. This junior-level role is ideal for candidates with 3+ years of experience in buying, purchasing, or procurement, or those with experience in engineering, supply chain, or production planning. You will be responsible for managing purchase orders, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials and components. The position involves minimal negotiation, as most suppliers are long-standing partners. The ideal candidate will be organized, collaborative, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Place and manage purchase orders for materials, parts, and supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and planning teams to ensure material availability.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm order status, resolve issues, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support project timelines and material requirements.
- Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
